Spectacular growth over the years
Time passed. Camilla grew up, her habits evolved, and her responsibilities changed. Yet, Dorato remained a constant presence in her daily life.
The small snake she had received at sixteen gradually transformed into a particularly imposing animal.
In just a few years, it grew to over four meters in length. Its weight became so great that Camilla now had great difficulty lifting it, even using both hands.
This development forced the family to completely revise the reptile’s living conditions.
A room specially designed for Dorato
To provide a space more suited to his size, Dorato was installed in a large room separate from the house.
This room included ultraviolet lamps, a large bathtub, and sturdy branches for the snake to climb. The setup was designed to allow the animal to move around and enjoy a more
spacious environment.Camilla continued to watch her companion closely. In her eyes, the years spent together had created a familiarity that seemed to eliminate any reason to be afraid.
She knew his habits, his movements, and his usual reactions. This long coexistence had gradually established a feeling of trust.
Seven years of cohabitation without incident
Over time, Camilla even allowed Dorato to regularly leave his room to explore certain parts of the apartment.
In the afternoon, the enormous python would slowly roam the corridors. It would also sometimes settle in the living room, near the sofa where the young woman was reading or studying.
This impressive presence had become almost commonplace for her. Where a visitor would probably have been surprised by the reptile’s size, Camilla simply saw the animal she had raised since her adolescence.
This routine continued for almost seven years, without any notable incident.
